Stavanger as a Vacation Destination

Stavanger is an excellent choice for city breaks, hiking trips. Its coastal location offers direct access to the sea and plenty of water activities. The best time to visit is June, July, August with temperatures up to 18°C.

The center is easily walkable — a car is rarely needed. As an upscale destination, a more generous budget is advisable.
